I don't think we've ever done a Throwback Thursday feature before, at least not in recent history, so I set out on a mission to scour the database to see exactly what XCritic's first review was because it happened years before I ever joined the team. It turned out to be a film from 2001, which got a lot of critical attention and reviews from across the globe, actually winning a CAVR (Cyberspace Adult Video Reviews) award for the best DVD that year. Turns out we agreed with that assessment and gave it an XCritic Pick. Our review styles have evolved many times over the years and continue to do so, but it's an interesting look back at a DVD that had features that no studio even adds anymore, was shot on location in a foreign country, and stars one of the most iconic porn stars ever, Tera Patrick.
