Clips4Sale's Legal Zone Returns for 2020 With Hot Topic Analysis

TAMPA, Fla. — The Clips4Sale Legal Zone returns for 2020 with coverage of “all the hot topics that producers and models want to know about,” including free speech, and the latest news regarding the impact of California’s AB5 law.

The ninth episode of the Clips4Sale Legal Zone is set for Monday, January 6, at 1 p.m. (PST) and will be hosted by information technology attorney Corey D. Silverstein and Clips4Sale founder Neil and feature special guest attorney Larry Walters.

Other topics will include emoji use, inline linking (aka embedding) and memes, and how they can and cannot be used.

The group will delve into California’s AB5 law, and how workers who were previously independent contractors could now be reclassified, including new developments; how companies inside and outside California are dealing with this law; how both sales-only and multi-platform services might change; and how a federal judge refusing to reclassify Uber drivers in California could impact workers in our industry.

A live Q&A will be held throughout the session.

“We’re revisiting AB5 since a lot of our producers and models still have many questions about it and how it will impact their business. The speech portion of the webinar should be interesting as well. It’s a great way to kick off 2020!” Neil said.

The webinar is open to everyone, whether they run a Clips4sale studio or not and is available here.
