LAS VEGAS — PeterFever.com is touting the release of “Feed Me Your Love,” a web series that marks the studio’s first foray into “Hong Kong-style erotic drama."
The debut episode, titled “First Sight, First Taste,” debuts today with newcomer and studio discovery Ray Dexter opposite Max Konnor. Koloff directed the episode from a script by Len Whitney, based on an idea by PeterFever principal Danny Zeeman.
Dexter plays “bitter burnout David, who finds wild romance with his cafe patron, Max,” a rep said. “But the course of true love takes some obsessive turns along the way. The style is dramatic and almost operatic, narrated by the characters in soft white closeup as the action unfolds.”
The particular aesthetic sought by the filmmakers turned out to be a unexpected challenge to pull off in an organic way. “I decided to turn to reality television-style ‘confessionals’ where we see the halo-lit characters telling their own stories that fade into narrated action,” Koloff said. “It seems more personal and involving, and allows for a more visual, active style of storytelling.”
The action, largely filmed on a custom-built set, follows the two men as their relationship evolves from a meet-cute through cheating and betrayal, revenge and reconciliation. “‘Feed Me Your Love’ is unmistakably pornographic, but seamlessly integrated into an indie art film milieu that lends a deeper, emotional connection to the overheated story,” said Koloff.
Konnor is a fan-favorite performer, while newcomer Dexter “makes a shining and memorable debut. The YouTube favorite has amassed a sizable following with an unexpected combination of attributes: a young, adorable Asian twink who’s a massively-endowed total top wielding maybe the biggest Asian cock in gay porn,” said the rep.
Dexter praised the camaraderie among cast and crew that made his adult debut a memorable experience. “It was so much fun getting to work with everyone; it felt like everyone was very supportive of each other and that made me more comfortable,” he said.
The film’s title and theme were drawn from an unexpected source: a 2013 Eurovision entry titled “I Feed You My Love,” noted Zeeman.
“The song’s blazing horns and strings brought to mind the hot sizzling drama of David and Max’s coupling, and a series title was born. With ‘Feed Me Your Love,’ we went straight for the jugular in a heart-wrenching tale of love, lust, jealousy and betrayal," he said. "In true dramatic fashion, we end in an all-out confrontation that brings all of our stars closer together — quite literally.”
